Regular, annual visits to the gynecologist will help to catch vulvar cancer early. If a lump looks suspicious, the doctor will order a biopsy or other more comprehensive tests to determine if it is cancer.
I just would like to thank you for this information. I was embaressed to even look this up on the internet, but I needed to know if what I have looks anything like the pictures. I have no health insurance first time ever and I don't want to self diagnosis, but sometimes you have no choice. Thank you so much. Kindest regards.
Thanks so much for providing this information for me! I was watching Dr. Oz today and his program was talking about vulvar cancer which is something that,in my 56 years, I had never heard of. I am due to have a pap test soon and I'm certainly going to ask about being tested.
I have white irregular lesions on the vulvar area . The skin peels away and leaves sores. I am not sexually active. Havent been for 12 years. Been to the state Hospital, but can not get diagnosis or treatment. They even tested me for syphyllis wich obviously was negative. I cant take this anymore as I am very sore. What can I do?
HAD VULVER CANCER 12 YEARS AGO HAD A GREAT DOCTOR WHO REMOVED IT BUT A WEEK LATER HE WAS IN A BAD CAR WRECK, HE SAID IT WOULD COME BACK AND NOT SURE WHERE, WHAT AND WHERE SHOULD I GO to have a check up that is over due with no insurance??
